Lets dive in
1. Stained Glass Logos
Logo design, though considered a fairly new concept comes from the very beginning of the time where symbols and compositions were the ways to represent the larger than life purpose.
This year, once again, the designers have gone back to representational style, once of the prominent styles of representation in architecture from Medieval Europe.

2. Perspective Drawing Logos
With the simplicity of the flat design and the depth of 3D, the designers have a new way of blending the best of the two worlds. Perspective Drawing Logos brilliantly mix the depth of 3D with the simplicity of the flats.

3. Simplistic Geometry Logos
This trend covers the simplistic approach of using basic Geometric shapes like triangles, squares and circles. Following the trend of using simple line and 2D shapes, this is a follow-up trend which has further simplified design without loosing it’s beauty and power.

4. Divergent Typography Logos
This trend focuses on the use of playful and expressive typefaces. As a variation of Wordmark Logos, these majorly focus on the brand name and representing it’s features.
This style not only creates point of interest, but also leaves an impression on the viewers mind.

5. Symmetric Logos
Symmetrical logos are exact mirror images if divided from the center, which can be aligned either vertically or horizontally. This style, though was referred as obsolete or redundant, represents solid structure and a complete form.

6. Funky Characters & Mascot Logos
Logo design has been evolving at an unprecedented pace and has created space for many new form of brand representations. One of them is the adoption of caricature and exaggerated character style in logo designs. This not only ads a living character to the brand, but also instills a witty and humorous side.

7. Modern Symbolism Logos
Thought the designers have always believed in giving meaning to their own designs, but this year we see a reference to the past, even in logo designing. The icons from the past hieroglyphs and pictograms are being reference and used to associate their virtue with new brands and companies.

8. no-motion motion Logos
Motion has always been fascinating to the eyes and almost each designer wants his creation to be represented in some sort of motion, to bring in that life. In 2021, we see the next step, instilling motion without actually moving the icons and logos. This adds dynamism and makes the viewer feel life within that static icon.

9. Flat and Simple Logos
Since 2020, we have seen so many logo redesigns for huge brands, around the globe. All of them simply water to make their logos even simpler. Removing those unnecessary lines, shadows and depths, the final logos are flat and much more digitally adaptable.

10. Wordmark Logos
Just like all trend cycles repeat themselves, so is the case with this one. Wordmark logos have always had a place in almost all the trends reports as far as I remember. These logos only use the name of the company/brand as the primary focus without using any icons, symbols or mascots.

It was fun trying to figure out these trends, do let me know if you want me cover anything specific from these trends.
