Elaborate on the thought and outline behind your brand

Kids quickly adapt to what they see and we are here to sow the seeds of mindfulness in the little ones. Our mission is to introduce conscious living through purposeful clothing. Just like how learning numbers and the alphabet in childhood stays with us throughout, the same way learning values of gratitude, and compassion among other tools of mindfulness will make a forever impact on the child.

Who are the founders? Please explain a little about them.

See Sow is the mind-baby of three friends- Komal Chhabria, Bhumika Keswani and Itisha Agrawal. They share the same alma mater, the National Institute of Fashion Technology and also the vision of bridging the gap in consciousness and clothing. Komal Chhabria carries a bag of great design skills, fusing trends, fine aesthetics, and meticulous attention to detail. Bhumika Keswani digs deep into research and development along with great knowledge of prints and patterns. Itisha Agrawal has a fine creative approach in the sector of clothing, and home furnishings as well as many lifestyle products and in the terms of marketing.

What is a very specific problem that your brand is solving?

The pandemic brought with itself a complex array of challenges which had mental health repercussions for everyone, especially children and adolescents. Kids started losing the essence of their childhood being stuck inside their own homes, with barely any social interaction and exposure to almost nil outdoor activity.

Our garments offer to enrich the experience of childhood for kids. Encouraging them to explore themselves and the world around them, understand emotions, appreciate life, and the little things around them and have a sound foundation for their well-being in adulthood. It's a beautiful journey with them to open their minds and hearts to a fun world of mindfulness, self-learning, laughing and loving at every step of the way.

What were/are the difficulties and challenges being faced by you and your brand?

When we observed this saddening sight of kids around us being barely introduced to outdoor activities, we thought of creating something to encourage conscious living. Since clothing is an integral part of everyone's daily life, we faced the difficulties of how to incorporate mindfulness in clothing and also make it fun and interactive.

What are your brand's offerings?

We have an extremely fun and unique way to bring the values like self-love, gratitude, and compassion through interactive and thoughtful apparel for the wonderful kids. Each design has a different impact and the best part is that the kids can play, learn and absorb all the positive vibes. We have in store, meaningful prints which are printed using the 'low impact dyes' which cause less harm to your mini one's skin and our precious planet Earth. We also have a child psychologist on board who guides us through every concept we come up with. Providing mindful tools at an early stage helps children to grow into mindful youth and adults.

Did your brand and products make any contribution to the society/ environment/ culture/ community? If yes, please highlight the same.

Our products are thoughtfully created to bring a positive and relaxing aura to the wearer and the observer. Kids catch actions more than words and hence our interactive clothing is bringing a mindful shift in the thought pattern of the young ones and encouraging positive parenting.

What would you like to say to the next GEN of creators

Our message to the next GEN of creators is to look into the problem first and then come up with a solution. Let your audience know how and why you come up with your products and the difference you are going to make in their lives and the community as a whole.
